Dionne Lea
Dionne Lea is a film, television and theater actress and cabaret singer. She is a graduate of NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she received a MFA in Acting, in addition to a BFA in Theatre from The University of Evansville. Dionne has channeled her experience in stage-management, directing and choreography into coaching and theatre education. She mentors and coaches young actors of color in addition to her previous work teaching theatre education and improvisation to underserved school-age children in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Dionne is currently performing in her cabaret show The Way I Am…Now, a collection of stories, life lessons, and songs on navigating mid-life as a mother, wife and daughter of an amazing woman.
